Transforming UW's South Common

Posted on under Landscape Architecture

Decorative paving is being installed as part of a redesign of the University of Waterloo South Common.

From design to construction, the University of Waterloo South Common is transformed, including the installation of decorative paving. Significant regrading improves pedestrian walkways, site lines and accessibility throughout the site, with much of the existing green open spaces and vegetation remaining. Based on feedback and approval from faculty, staff and students, GSP Group's landscape architecture team prepared the design and led construction administration services to the completion of the project at the start of the 2016 Fall semester.
