GSP Group, KPMB Architects, and Conestoga Rovers and
Associates have prepared a Master Plan for the development
of the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI)/Balsillie
School of International Affairs in Uptown Waterloo.
The Master Plan establishes a framework for built
form, streetscape improvements, public spaces, pedestrian
linkages, maintenance of view corridors, intensification of
development, building massing and orientation and parking.
The Master Plan contains development guidelines to inform
the detail design and site plan review processes.
The Master Plan met with strong support from the
community when presented at a neighbourhood meeting and
adopted by Council.
