Chris Pidgeon is a founding partner with GSP Group and is currently President of the firm. A farm boy from Chatham, Chris went to the University of Windsor for his Bachelor of Arts, and completed his Master of Arts at the University of Waterloo, expecting to move from Kitchener-Waterloo to Toronto, but he never left KW.
After a couple of years with the Cities of Waterloo and Cambridge, Chris moved into private land use planning specializing in coordinating complex greenfield and infill developments, and providing professional opinion evidence at the Ontario Municipal Board. Chris has over 27 years of experience with an engaging, collaborative style and attention to detail to resolve issues in the full range of development approvals and the public planning process.
Chris has volunteered on a number of industry committees and is currently on the Waterloo Re-urbanization Committee. When not at his desk, Chris can be found throwing rocks, shredding the slopes, riding his Harley with his wife, or hanging with his four daughters.
