Hugh Handy has been involved in variety of private and public sector projects. He has considerable experience in residential, commercial, institutional and employment due diligence and planning approvals. He has been involved in residential subdivision planning, mixed use reurbanization projects and residential infill developments. He works on a number of projects in the rural area and has considerable experience with rural planning and development having work for the County of Wellington for over 7 years. He also has a keen interest and experience in parks, recreation and trail planning.
Hugh has been actively involved in OPPI throughout his career. He sat as the Southwest District Provincial Representative on OPPI Council from 1995-1999. He was recognized in 2000 with a Member Service Award from OPPI for his service to the Institute.
