Katherine Perrott, a Senior Planner at GSP Group, draws on ten years of experience as a land-use planning practitioner, researcher, and university lecturer, with expertise in delivering creative public engagement strategies. Katherine’s project experience and doctoral-level research equips her with advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis of information collected through surveys, interviews, desktop studies, census data, and consultations with both small and large groups. She is committed to advancing well-being through the building of complete communities.
Katherine has worked across the rural to urban spectrum on a wide range of planning projects including regional plans, municipal official plans and reviews, zoning by-laws, integrated community sustainability plans, groundwater protection plans, and parks, trails and open space plans. She has developed expertise in the areas of growth management and densification, climate change, long-range visioning, community amenities, and trends in suburban residential and mixed-use development, including the “missing middle” of mid-rise and stacked townhouses.
