Project Description

Mark often leads, or is part of, multi-disciplinary teams involved with existing conditions analysis, concept development, detailed design and construction administration for parks and public realms, campus spaces, streetscapes, community plans, and commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. He is also responsible for the preparation of construction drawings and illustrative graphics to effectively communicate design solutions.

Mark has designed outdoor spaces for some of the most recognizable sites in Waterloo Region, with an emphasis on accessibility, safety, and sustainability to reduce maintenance costs and impacts on the environment.

A sessional instructor at the University of Guelph’s Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program, Mark introduces students to survey techniques, grade change devices, and site grading processes to convey stormwater runoff. Mark is also a GSP Group shareholder.
