Project Description

The project site is in the centre of the Corktown Neighbourhood, an older neighbourhood in central Hamilton. The site is composed of three parcels of land forming a city block approximately 0.059 hectares in size.

There are three existing buildings. The largest is the Corktown Plaza, a large, single-storey brick plaza located to the eastern side of the site.

GSP Group has filed an application on behalf of Corktown Plaza Inc. for an Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit the redevelopment of the project site. The proposed development is comprised of two residential towers atop a multi-storey residential and commercial podium.

To facilitate the proposed development, all three buildings are proposed to be demolished over two phases.
